Storyteller: All the animals are playing under a big tree. They are singing and dancing together.

Tortoise, Monkey, Mouse: Good morning, Mr. Hare.

Hare: What are you doing?

Tortoise, Monkey, Mouse: We are singing, dancing and playing.

我們?cè)诔?，跳舞?做游戲。

Hare: Who wants to race with me? I’m fast! How about you, Mr. Tortoise?

誰(shuí)向跟我賽跑?我跑的可快了!你怎么樣，烏龜先生?

Tortoise: I’m slow but I can run.

我跑的慢但我能跑。

Hare: Then let’s race.

那么讓我們來(lái)賽一賽吧。

Tortoise: Ok, let’s race. I’ll try my best to win.

好吧，讓我們來(lái)比賽吧，我要盡全力來(lái)贏。

Hare: let’s run to the big tree over there. See who gets there first.

讓我們跑到那邊那棵大樹，看看誰(shuí)先到那里。

Monkey: On your marks. Ready ----go!

各就各位，預(yù)備----- 跑!

Storyteller: The hare is fast. The tortoise tries to run fast, too.

小兔跑的很快，烏龜也盡力在快跑。

Bird: Oh, Mr. Tortoise, what are you doing here?

哎，烏龜先生，你在這干嘛呢

Tortoise: I’m racing with Mr. Hare.

我在和兔先生賽跑。

Bird: Good luck, Mr. Tortoise.

祝你好運(yùn)，烏龜先生。

Tortoise : Thank you very much.。

非常感謝。

Storyteller: The hare runs fast.

兔子跑的很快。

Hare: How fast I run. Look! Here are some carrots. They look nice.

I like them very much.. I’m going to eat some carrots…….

I’m full. It’s so hot and I’m so sleepy. I’ll have a short rest. The tortoise won’t catch up with me.

我跑的多快呀。瞧，這里有些胡蘿卜，它們看上去真誘人。我很喜歡它們，我要吃點(diǎn)。我飽了。天太熱了，我有點(diǎn)困了。我要歇會(huì)兒，烏龜追不上的。

Storyteller: Here comes the tortoise. He sees the hare sleeping under a tree.

烏龜跑來(lái)了，它看見(jiàn)兔子在樹下睡覺(jué)。

Tortoise: Oh, there’s Mr. Hare. He is sleeping. I’ll keep running.

哦，兔子在那里，它正在睡覺(jué)，我要繼續(xù)往前跑。

Hare: What a nice sleep! Oh, where’s Mr. Tortoise? I must run quickly.

睡的真香呀!哎呀，烏龜先生在哪兒?我必須快跑。

Storyteller: The hare is too full. He can’t run so quickly.

小兔吃的太飽了，它跑不動(dòng)了。

Hare: I’m so full. I’m going to lose.

我吃的太飽了，我要輸了。

Animals: Come on, tortoise! Come on, hare!

Go, hare! Go, Tortoise!

The tortoise is first! The tortoise won!

烏龜加油!小兔加油!小兔快跑!烏龜快跑!烏龜?shù)谝焕?烏龜贏啦!

Tortoise: Mr. Hare. You can run very fast, but I got here first.

兔先生，你能跑的很快，可我是第一個(gè)到達(dá)的。

Hare: Oh, no! I lost. I lost.

噢，不!我輸了。我輸了!

Mouse: Oh, Mr. Hare, don't lose heart. Try again!

兔先生，別灰心，再來(lái)試一試!咱們來(lái)賽一賽!

Hare: Good idea!

Monkey: On your marks, ready ---- go!
